Evolved is (somewhat) a newcomer on the market, offering amazingly robust, strong, and effective vibes at great prices. Their new Roulette line is done in pure silicone with a fabulous wheel for controlling the *oomph* of the vibe. The Bet on Black – or BOB – is a fine choice for versatility and moderate texture. My Tickle Spot, purveyor of finer sex toys, very kindly let me take BOB for a spin in exchange for my thoughts. Check out the entire Roulette Line (currently on sale) at My Tickle Spot.

In A Nutshell: An exceedingly high quality vibrator with a very cool and useful control dial. The swirl design is only moderate in texture, and is likely to appeal to a broad range of tastes.

What’s Awesome? Made of pure silicone – which is excellent, good on batteries, great on overall power. What’s not to like?

What’s Not So Awesome? The overall design is a “back to basics” type – no frills, just a standard and straight, insert-able vibrator.

I’m sure I’m probably just jaded, but this toy – despite having nothing wrong with it – doesn’t blow me away. It’s not overly special, which I think was really to be expected. It’s short, only lightly textured, straight, and average girth. So despite being fine on every level, it didn’t knock my socks off – but I think something from the Roulette line with a curved end or a more prominent texture would probably be more up my alley.

That said, this is an excellent toy. For a consumer looking for something *sure* to please, regardless of user, this is the sort of vibe to get. Evolved’s vibes are always done right – simple and well made for a killer price. Evolved’s Roulette line features silicone for the plush insert-able portions (and so is one of Evolved’s more expensive lines) and is comparable to offerings from Fun Factory. What sets the Roulette line above, and BOB is no exception, is the wheel. The wheel is a brilliant way of controlling vibration level that just *works*. Lubey fingers, different angles of use, whatever – it works. Coupled with powerful vibrations, plushy silicone that doesn’t pick up too much hair, and the BOB is a very nice vibrator.

It just doesn’t knock my socks off.
