I have some conflicting emotions about this toy. On one hand, I love it It’s been a while since I’ve felt that amazing “oh my god, I am so happy I have this toy” feeling about a vibrator, and yet, after about ten minutes of fiddling with this toy after opening it, I felt just that. On many, many levels, I cannot recommend it enough. Yet on the other hand, it just kind of sucks on the tongue (think: rubber band around your tongue) and besides, since when is putting a small vibrating bullet by the teeth a good idea?

In A Nutshell: An amazing, small vibrator that packs an intense punch and can be affixed to a number of appendages, toys and more.

What’s Not So Awesome? The whole tongue aspect. You either have a pierced tongue, or adapt to finding a placed-far-back, tight elastic band around your tongue comfortable. This bullet is cool, regardless of tongue aspects.

The thing about the Tongue Joy is that it does a lot of cool, versatile stuff. Sure, it’s designed to be attached to a tongue stud – its packaged with the appropriate hardware, after all – but really, that’s just one of many handy dandy use for this bullet. I am pleasantly surprised, overwhelmingly impressed, and just plan infatuated with the Tongue Joy. This little number is a welcome addition to my toy box, and probably my favorite of all the bullets I’ve ever had.

The basic vibrator unit is a small battery barrel that twists into the vibrator “Popsicle”, to form a T-shaped apparatus that vibrates as soon as is is screwed together well. The Tongue Joy’s claim to fail is tongue attachment – this is achieved via the vibrator screwing shut through a special barbell bead , anchoring it to a body piercing OR via the vibrator screwing shut through a side loop on an elastic ring. Apparently, with enough practice and patience, one can position the elastic on the tongue at the right spot to balance out urge to gag and the elastics tendency to slip off the tongue. Admittedly, I did not make it to this point – but mostly because I got to thinking about how damaging a potent bullet vibrator could be to teeth. Seems to me – and please correct me if I am wrong – having a vibrator in your mouth is a bad idea for tooth health.

Tongue use aside, this vibrator can be used in so many ways. Attached through one of the included band, it may be affixed to a finger (for direct massage with the bullet, or by making the finger vibrate) or toe, or around a favored dildo. Because the Tongue Joy features that T-shape, and also skinny post area at the junction of battery barrel to vibrator, it can actually be elastic-ed onto almost anything, and directly screwed across most anything else – with the right amount of ingenuity. I enjoyed putting this vibrator into the falls of a rubber angel hair flogger, making them tickle and vibrate, and also putting the vibrator on the underside of my pointer finger. Heck, I even screwed this vibrator directly across my VCH (vertical clit hood) piercing (very very good, but very heavy and not exactly waterproof…). Versatility is key with this toy – versatility and potency.

As an added bonus, the vibrator can alternatively be screwed into a barrel hat attaches by cord to a battery pack, and features a sliding intensity adjuster and takes two AAA batteries. This is nice because AAA batteries are easier to get in a pinch, so there’s a good back up if you run low on the special watch batteries used. Also, the kit comes with three vibrator sleeves – a variety of textures and assorted dangly bits. One of the sleeves – overall nubbins – is quite nice, the other two I could take or leave. Finally, the whole kit comes in a small, satiny zip-up ‘envelope’/bag. It is ALWAYS a bonus when non-bulky storage is included.

Overall, I really like the tongue joy. As a bullet vibrator, it’s everything I could ever want from a multi-talented, small, sleek, potent vibrator.
