I have to admit, I do love Canadian companies – and Eros and Isis (Loving Inspiration Inc.) is no exception. A new-er addition to the market, Eros and Isis makes boudoir products – including some devastatingly gorgeous silicone dildos. Many of their designs are just different decorations of a very simple design – including the Frog Prince dildo.

In A Nutshell: Gorgeous silicone dildo in a shimmering silver finish. Silicone is beautiful and soft and transmits vibrations potently.

What’s Not So Awesome? The shape, although fantastically maneuverable and adaptable, lacks pizazz. This could be an exceptional dildo with a bit more length or a different shape.

The silicone used for this dildo is just amazing. Supple, soft, smushy and oh-so-silver. The silver colour (/sparkle) comes form suspended mika pigments in the silicone, which is pretty cool if you think about it, and speaks of uniqueness. I can’t help but wonder why the silicone of this toy seems so unique, because clearly the makers have found a perfect balance. The silicone is gorgeous; its texture smooth but its flex and give is soft and pillowy. It transmits vibrations well, and adds to the vibrating dildo’s shape by having the vibrations focus and amplify into the tip, making the vibrator work well for precision stimulation, or for grinding across the whole arc of the side of the dildo if more dispersed vibration is desired.

As a dildo, vibrating or not, this toy is a lovely size and shape to be used as a precision tool. Its shape would be excellent for manipulation by a partner, and works well for manipulation of self. This is because the toy is stout – 3/4 inch diameter and five inches of length – and can thus be used to angle to hit key spots with ease. However, this universal adaptability and universal appeal means that it is not a particularly amazing toy overall. It’s small, it’s irregularly textured, and it doesn’t offer any bulbous features. I am glad I have it – it fits a particular niche in my fleet of dildos that previously stood empty – but it’s still just a small (but pretty girthy for its size, so just short, really) toy.

A large part of Eros and Isis‘ line is based on the same fundamental shape as this toy does. While I appreciate the simplicity of the shape, I would much rather see more variety in lengths, girths and shapes. In the very least, same shape, but larger would be a fantastic offering. As it is, the size and shape just might not appeal to some. Eros and Isis do offer some slight variations on shape, but the size of all their dildos is all approximately the same. It’s a shame, really, as I would jump at the chance to get something with a nice set of ridges or maybe a large curve in this beautiful silicone.

Shape and dimensions aside, the key feature to this toy – and any toy in the Eros and Isis line – is the gorgeous styling of the design. The Frog Prince features a Frog around the bottom of one side of the dildo, and a dragonfly on the upper portion of the dildo, on the opposite face. The dragonfly has a long line-like body, which means a somewhat sharp ridge. When vibrating, I must admit, this ridge feels almost sharp and painful (I guarantee, however, that it is anything but) as it slides by my g-spot, but somehow, it has me squirting amazingly fast. What’s really interesting the squirting is just mechanical – no orgasm. Something in the way the dragon fly’s body, the vibration and my anatomy blend basically milks me. It’s actually pretty cool.

So overall, the Eros and Isis Frog Prince is a nice little dildo with interesting features. If you are in the market for a smaller size vibrator or dildo, check out the Eros and Isis line – you won’t be disappointed!
