Once upon a time, vibrators were clunky and designed for holistic therapeutic use. Old lady Hitachi and old man Whal are some of the throwbacks to that far gone-era, around still because nothing current can really compete with their raw un-adultered power.

Oh sure, now-a-days there seems to be an endless parade of new vibrators claiming extreme power, extreme function, and extreme pleasure…and rarely (if ever) deliver. But you know, everyone I know who has used a Hitachi or Whal will usually agree – they’ll knock your socks off in a heartbeat, but goddamn, are they ever clunky, plain and boring. Why, oh why, can’t we have a vibrator that looks modern but delivers that sort of power?

Enter the Form 6. The Form 6 is something special. The Form 6 is sleek and sexy. And versatile. And Powerful.

Sorry, scratch that…The Form 6 is powerful as fuck.

In A Nutshell: JimmyJane’s powerhouse is rechargeable, waterproof, dual motored and brilliantly shaped. But it comes at a price.

What’s Not So Awesome? With this much awesomeness comes a high price tag – Babeland asks $185. That might be an insurmountable barrier to some, but I hope not – this toy is worth it.

I’ll admit, until it was in my hands – or more aptly, pressed on my cooch – I didn’t believe a vibrator could be worth a few hundred dollars, but I was wrong. Oh so wrong.

The JimmyJane Form 6 is a completely waterproof rechargeable massager. As noted, it features dual motors, body safe materials (silicone and metal), a button lock for travel purposes, a design that takes sound dampening into consideration, and a case that is used for charging and storage. The recharging function is achieved by metal-on-metal contacts – no ports to plug into (or protect from moisture) – and the high quality lithium ion battery CANNOT be overcharged. Oh, and it has a one year warranty. Truly, everything you should expect and demand from a luxury vibrator.

The Form 6 must be charged for seven hours before use, after which, it will only ever take four hours to charge fully. On a full charge, it can run for two hours. To turn it on, simply press any button for a few seconds, and the Form 6 will flash its LED’s at you to say that it’s on, and also how much charge remains. There are four lights (1), the more of them that light up, the more charge the Form 6 has. There are three buttons – one to control the intensity of the small node, one for the large node, and the third to select the oscillation pattern. The oscillations of each node go constant, in small waves, in large waves, and in square waves. The coolest thing about the Form 6 is that some of its modes have the two nodes working at different patterns, giving the toy overall oscillation patterns that will blow your freaking mind. Oh, and did I mention, the vibrations on the large node are DEEP. Like, move into your spine deep, in a way I have only ever encountered with my Hitachi.

Strong, interesting vibrations aside, the shape of the Form 6 is what really pushes it over the edge. The shape has everything. The “handle” is 1.75” in girth, at its widest point, and its shaped like an oval that has been pinched somewhat to give an inner ridge. This inner ridge is brilliant at stroking my g-spot as it swipes by during insertion, brilliant at tickling my clit as it slides up and down my vulva, and reminds me very strongly of the “handle” of the Lelo Ella. Inner ridge aside, the outer part of the handle is broad and gentle – perfect for grinding against my clit without worrying about any uncomfortable pokes and jabs with angular edges.

The small node – oh the small node – it truly rocks my world. As one might imagine, it’s nicely angled for precise application to the clit – as light or as firmly as you want – but truly it excels at g-spot stimulation. Sliding it from your clit down to your cunt, then tipping it forward so that it hooks in and is pressed up against the g-spot is toe curling. I have recently discovered that intense g-spot stimulation makes me cry – as in watery eyes – and the Form 6 is the only toy that does it to me. Buzzing hard, buried in my cunt, my pussy I soaks my sheets almost as fast as my eyes drench my pillow.

The Form 6. It’s truly something special, it’s truly something unique. JimmyJane says it “is the most versatile and powerful product of its kind”, and I both agree and disagree. It is the most versatile and powerful rechargeable vibrator I have ever experienced (note, the Hitachi still has an ever so slight advantage in raw intensity), but this is no ordinary rechargeable vibrator. Is it really FAIR to compare the Form 6 to the lovely offerings from Lelo, Emotional Bliss, Fun Factory and etc? Hell no. The Form 6 is the gifted child in the classroom full of rechargeable vibrators – it’s something different and something special…
