A lot of people really love the pinpoint stimulation that a bullet vibe provides. A lot of toys – vibrating dildos, nipple clamps, etc. – use a so-called “standard” bullet that takes watch batteries and seems to chew through them way to fast. However, recent innovations in the bullet vibe world have led to new innovations (higher power, less battery guzzling). Pink Cherry Sex Toys was kind enough to send me a California Exotic High Intensity Bullet to take for a spin, and I must admit – this jaded bullet hater is impressed.

In A Nutshell: A slightly larger (lengthwise) bullet that should fit into the base of dildos taking bullet vibes that offers three speeds, waterproofness, and a cheap price tag.

What’s Awesome? It’s pretty intense (hence the name) and stays that way through repeated uses on a single battery. What more do you need from a bullet.

What’s Not So Awesome? Mine shuts off by itself when I turn it horizontal when I’m in the shower. I know that sounds weird, but it’s reproducible and ONLY happens in the shower.

The High Intensity Bullet takes an N size battery. If you’re not familiar with an N sized battery, it’s a single battery that looks to be the same size as three standard watch batteries stacked together. You can get rechargeable N cells, which to me puts this bullet head and shoulders above standard vibes that require watch batteries. You can get an N cell battery at any store where you can buy batteries – I hit my local dollar store, but drugstores, staples, etc will work too.

The High Intensity Bullet comes to a very distinct point that is still smooth enough not to poke uncomfortably when pressed up against or inside of you. It offers three levels of vibration, with the middle level being what I would normally expect, vibration wise, from a watch-battery bullet. The vibration settings are cycled through by a simple push button at the base of the bullet. Noise wise, the bullet is amazingly discreet, easily blocked out by a closed door.

For a price tag of $15.99, this bullet is, frankly, a steal. Small, compact and powerful, it will get you off again and again, alone or partnered, without any trouble at all. This would make an excellent first time vibrator for someone wanting something VERY small and hide-able yet effective.
