Acuvibe Mini
Babeland sent me something that *almost* rivals my Hitachi Magic Wand. The Acuvibe Mini is a Mini (duh!) version of the popular Acuvibe, which is a cordless version of the Hitachi (pretty much, anyways). The Acuvibe mini is small, and while it packs a serious punch for its size, it’s not as potent as its grown up cousins. Still, it can go were grown up massagers would have issues going, and that makes it special. Thanks again to Babeland for providing this wonderful toy for me to review.
In A Nutshell: A small, rechargeable, vibrating head style massager.
What’s Awesome? Power comes in a smaller package with this massager – it’s great for getting off during sex.
What’s Not So Awesome? The size means that it’s not quite as powerful as a regular Hitachi or Acuvibe
Rating:

The Acuvibe Mini is made by a company called “Human Touchâ€. If you look them up online, you’ll discover that they specialize in massage chairs, which is great. I love the fact that massagers like this come from companies that genuinely want you to massage out neck kinks with them. The added benefit of this being a real rough and tumble-back-knot massager is the fact that it can be pressed quite firmly while vibrating strongly – strong vibrations plus pressure equals fun to m clit, and truthfully to tired and sore muscles as well…
The Acuvibe Mini is made of ABS plastic and etc, with the head specifically being velvety feeling hard plastic. If you were so inclined, this hard plastic head could be wiped down with a 10% bleach solution to facilitate sharing, but honestly a condom would really simplify everything. This toy is not at all waterproof or splashproof, so no using it in or or around your bathtub, and wipe it down to clean rather than rinsing. As it is a rechargeable toy, there is a simple plug-in at the base that accepts the included AC adapter. For the first use, the Aucvibe Mini require 8 hours charging. Active charging can be confirmed via a blue light that glows an the very bottom when it is accepting electricity. The on/off switch is a simple slide switch on the side near the massaging head; the toy has one speed, which is equivalent to the “Low†on a Hitachi Magic Wand, and noise wise it’s in the same range as well With a full charge, I was able to about an hour of buzzing out of the toy, or four masturbation sessions.
I have enjoyed using this toy in lieu of my Hitachi as I really prefer the smaller size and cordlessness. My Hitachi still stays plugged in by my bed, however, as it is reliable and always provides high power as long as its plugged in. The only issue with rechargeable toys is the whole “I want to play but it’s not charged†conundrum than happens on occasion. Still, the Acuvibe mini actually gets to come into play during sex – unlike my bulky Hitachi – and feels easier to use for a quick wank before bed. Size, apparently, does matter.
