The Share

I have been a longtime fan of the Feeldoe (feeldoe archive). My Feeldoe has become an integral part of my toy arsenal, and arguably my sexuality as well. I consider it my cock, and I feel like its part of me when I’m wearing it. But I have big news – the Feeldoe is dead to me.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to my new cock, courtesy of the good folks at Babeland – the Share, by Fun Factory.

In Short: I can’t recommend this toy enough. I’d give it more than five stars if I could.

What’s Awesome: Oh, I don’t know…everything?!?! This is a very well designed double dildo.

What’s Not So Awesome: Hmm. Well it is a one size fits all toy, and the bean is a tad wide, so I could see that being not so super for some. Same goes with the dick – if you have an anal virgin on your hands, this may not be the best intro toy.

The Share is a double ended dildo that features a “bulb” end (which I call the bean) and the “dick” end. The wearer slips the bean into a willing orifice, and presto chango, now they have a cock. For girls with rock hard PC muscles, the Share will stay lovingly nestled in the coochie while you take it for a ride, but I have found that for the rest of us (and I daresay that’s the majority), this toy is like a million times better and easier to use when strapped on with a harness. The Share could also be used anally (I am resisting beanskin jokes for the sake of maturity) by men or women – men with erectile dysfunction (or maybe just whiskey dick) or a desire to doubly penetrate; women looking for some double penetration solo play or who maybe just like having options.

The Share is made of that same silky soft silicone (so no silicone lube, and sterilize by boiling…) used in other Fun Factory toys, and it is solid and the same level of quality I have come to expect from that company. The joint in between the dick and bean is actually quite narrow – much narrower and more flexible than the Feeldoe. The base of the dick gets very wide, so that when worn in the cunt, the base presses against a large region of the pubic mound. This design is clever for many reasons. Firstly, because of the flexibility the Share is usable from many different angles, and more forgiving of temporary misalignments than the Feeldoe, or even a real live penis. Secondly, the Share will mold itself to the wearers shape and allow the wide base of the dick to nestle solidly against the wearers vulva, applying even pressure against the region in a very pleasant way. This is different from the Feeldoe, which sports ridges in the area, but in such a position that they only stimulate the wearer when the toy is at the correct angle. I found that when I strapped on my Share, I was able to snug it up so well that that region cupped me perfectly and stayed that way throughout my trial runs.

Speaking of harnesses – if you want a good harness for this dildo, be sure to choose one that has a removable pad (or no pad) behind the o-ring. Also I found that the Share needed a very small o-ring – a 1” diameter – or else the wide base of the dick would work its way through when it got all slick, settling in the thinner region between the bean and dick and essentially negating the benefit of wearing a harness. So, be sure you can swap out o-rings on yuyur harness, or make sure you simply get one that comes with a small ring installed.

When wearing the share, what immediately struck me was the AWESOMENESS of the bean. In fact, when I first put on the Share, I ended up playing with it by jerking off – wiggling the bean around and popping it in and out till I squirted everywhere. Here’s to ergonomically designed toys, eh? Also (and this is really cool), I could pop in the bean, rotate my cock around, and then bend it so that it dipped into my ass. In this configuration, it did not take much movement to get my toes curling.

But the real test was fucking – and of course the Share performs admirably. The bean rests solidly up against my gspot, and when thrusting the wide dick base grinds into my vulva, putting light and lovely pressure on my clit. Suffice to say, when fucking with this cock it feels GREAT, and I can come easily and often – mostly thanks to that blessed bean. And here’s the tickler: the bean stayed put. Historically, this has been my one complaint about the Feeldoe – when I get quite wet, or fuck with a wide legged stance, the Feeldoe bulb likes to wiggle its way out – even strapped in. The Share stayed put while I fucked like crazy – strapped in of course – and had much more tolerance for staying put when used without a harness. What joy – no more junk adjustments on the sly!

In short, I can’t recommend this toy enough. OK, sure, I am biased – I love (or maybe loved) my Feeldoe, and thought it was almost pure perfection. But the Share is better in every single way, and would make a great toy addition to any collection. Five Stars – and I’d give it more if I could.

Thanks for such an amazing review. This was really helpful to me as a sex educator at Babeland – your thoughts are product knowledge that everyone that works at Babeland should know.

I’m also posting part of your review on our blog – but also encouraging everyone to visit here to read the whole thing!

¡ thanks for a very informative comparison between the FeelDoe and FunFactory’s Share ! if you find the interest and the opportunity, I’d be most interested to hear how the Nexus http://store.babeland.com/double-dildos/nexus compared to the FeelDoe and the Share. how well the wearer end stays in; whether it combines well with a harness; the level of clitoral stimulation…. I await any possible insight regarding the pros and cons between the three with anticipation. cheers.

Yes, I would love to be able to comment on the nexus – unfortunately however, I have never driven one :( However I do know that the nexus needs a harness, while the share/feeldoe type can be worn harness free. I have hear it said that some find the feeldoe much inferior to the nexus, except for the fact that the feeldoe is harness free.

I, however, do have a Happy Valley Tango that I will be reviewing and comparing to the feeldoe and share.
