Axis Hitachi
The Axis Hitachi, from Liberator, is pure sweet genius in a sex product. You see, I am a hitachi addict – and this piece makes the hitachi better. Couple that with the fact that the hitachi pouch can be used to mount other vibrators, and the shape is an excellent, toy aside…it’s actually pretty simple: go, get one if you love your hitachi. You won’t regret it.

What’s Awesome? An excellent “bump up” for easy g-spot targeting during sex, plus the ability to mount a vibrator/toy, and a beautiful/useful way of mounting a hitachi magic wand.
What’s Not So Awesome? Nothing. This is perfect as is.

The Axis Hitachi is first and foremost an Axis, which is a new shape from Liberator. It’s long, with a broad rounded edge that’s not super high. It’s also tapered so as not to be obtrusive. It integrates freely into any sex position (even the really low and close ones) by providing that ‘bump up’ of the hips without feeling like it’s any sort of inconvienience.
Th Axis Hitachi’ design is of course optimal for a hitachi, as shown above, and will work well with many general massagers, depending on what you are willing to accept as ‘working well’. Certainly, anything the same general size as a hitachi magic wand? Perfect. Smaller toys or odd shapes? It’s gonna depend. In a charming twist of fate, the hold used to accommodate the hitachi head can be used as a strap on dildo holder, for dildos with a broad enough base.
The Axis is like a new imagining on the Wedge – think lower, longer, smoother and more subtle due to its rounded edge. Liberator Wedge and Ramp lovers will be pleased to know that the axis substitutes for the Wedge in combo positions with the Ramp quite readily and comfortably. In fact, the Axis would likely pair well with most liberator shapes, and it of course comes in microfiber so it ‘sticks’ to other microfiber covered liberator shapes like velcro. All in all, it’s an excellent addition to a liberator shape collection, worthy of entry into even the most discriminating of confined closet storage situations.
The axis hitachi is a good investment. On a limited budget, or a potential “only liberator purchase” I would say that this is the single liberator piece to get. In addition to being a solid beginner liberator choice, it’s just a mighty fine accent for use with a hitachi magic wand. What’s not to love?
