Crocodile Clamps
In A Nutshell: Babeland calls these a “Babeland classicâ€; and for good reason. Not only do the clamps pinch effectively, they stay put, and they have the ability to be tightened or loosened to the exact perfect amount of tension.
What’s Awesome? The adjustment screw – these clamps can be evil or totally innocent, depending on where it’s set.
What’s not so Awesome? The pressure is localized (as in, the pads are small), but at the same time its so even that it doesn’t bite in anywhere at all (so heavy masochists might find them too tame).

You wouldn’t think that the world of clamps was a big place, but believe you me, with clamps, there are loads of options. A very sensible beginners option is anything with a lovely adjustment screw – like these crocodile clamps. I got into clamps in a round about way – perverting household items into nipple clamps and labia adornments. Now that I have a pair of adjustable clamps, I kind of wish I’d started with them – probably would have saved me a few undesirable yelps along the way.
I thought these would be pretty wussy clamps – but they aren’t. The maximum tension is a pleasantly strong pinch, about the level I could hit with my finger tips just shy of nipple twist out (don’t understand what I mean? Squeeze a nipple real hard between two fingers and you’ll see – the little devils like to twist out of the pinch). On minimum tension, they barely bit into my nipples, with are on the larger side, so frankly, these clamps should be able to accommodate even the most sensitive of nipples. And they’re not just for nipples – I love these clamps on my labia because they really hold on tight.
The adjustment screws could use a bit of lubrication – I used silicone grease from my scuba diving kit – so that they can be easily manipulated for adjustments on the fly. Heavy masochists may be interested in taking the rubber pads off the tips, increasing the pain factor just a little bit more. Sensation seekers will be happy to note that the chain feels delicious as it dances across and and tickles your skin.
Cleaning crocodile clams is easy enough – just wipe down with pads with disinfectant and do remember, if used on the genitals, the rubber pads can’t be sterilized, so use sensibily, keeping that in mind.
Over all, I award these clamps five stars. I’ve taken to wearing them to work under my clothes!
